I'm delighted that you're considering staying at La Maison de Marquay! Your satisfaction during your stay is very important to me, so I invite you to read this information about La Maison de Marquay. Please don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions.

Your arrival and departure

• Check-in: I welcome guests between 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM . If you plan to arrive outside of these hours, please let me know in advance so I can adjust my schedule. For everyone's peace and quiet, arrivals after 9:30 PM are not possible.

• Departure: On the day of your departure, the room must be vacated before 11:00 am .

Room Cleaning

• Your room is cleaned daily .

• Depending on the length of your stay, I will adjust the frequency of your bed linen and bath towels. Please feel free to let me know your preferences.

Village Life and Surrounding Nature

• The guesthouse is located in the heart of Marquay, a vibrant and lively village. Local events, particularly in July and August, occasionally create a lively atmosphere, reflecting the richness of our community and cultural life. In case of loud noises, I always have earplugs available.

• In the great outdoors, you may come across garden inhabitants such as spiders, bees, wasps, mosquitoes or bats . Out of respect for local biodiversity, I do not use any repellents that are harmful to health.

• When the heatwave hits, I'm careful about my water consumption. My garden, and especially the lawn around the pool, is likely to suffer and be less green than usual.

Our Pets

• You will meet our cat Khalessi , who is very sociable, but we ask that you do not let her into the rooms.

• Our two Husky dogs, however, do not have access to the guest areas . They are sociable and will try to receive your affection through the fence; however, I would appreciate it if you did not give them any special attention when I am not present.

• Due to the presence of our animals, we are notnot able to accommodate your own four-legged companions.

No Smoking Policy

• La Maison de Marquay is a completely non-smoking establishment (cigarettes and e-cigarettes), including at the windows of the rooms.

• You can smoke or vape outdoors in the garden , an ashtray is available.

Prices

• Our prices are quoted in euros, per room per night, for two people.

• Breakfast is included .
